Troy Gallow came out to our condo to fix our stackable washer and dryer that had a leak behind it. He arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was very professional and courteous. I hope that I can request him to come out next time I have a plumbing issue. I would definitely recommend John Moore to my friends and neighbors. And may I add this was about one week since Hurricane Harvey and the company was extremely busy but , nonetheless, Troy remainded mild mannered and calm. Great job!

Hi. I hope someone can help me. I have a has water heater amd it seems to only work when it wants to. Regardless of amount of use some days I have got water and some days it runs out of hot water immediately even if it hasn't been used all day. And some days it runs out half way through a shower. Excellent service by Edwin G., field tech was professional and efficient. Problem was assessed and I was advised what was needed to fix the problem. Price was quoted. It was nice the fact that he entered my home wearing plastic booties over his shoes. I am very satisfied with my experience today with John Moore. In the event I have plumbing issues in the future I will definitely call John Moore. Thanks Edwin G. for a job well done!
Your sump pump is a pump that is installed most commonly at the lowest point in your basement, acting as a collector for any water that finds itself into perforated drain pipes in and around your home. They only turn on when the water inside reaches a pre specified level and then they activate in order to prevent basement flooding. Because they’re a.) not regularly visible and b.) not regularly used, it’s easy to forget to check on your sump pump to make sure it’s performing properly. Like any other piece of machinery with moving parts, sump pumps can wear out over time, especially when they’re not receiving proper maintenance. That’s why the experts at Applewood Plumbing have the dedicated training they do – so they can help you both with maintenance assistance and sump pump repair.
Plumbing fixtures are exchangeable devices using water that can be connected to a building's plumbing system. They are considered to be "fixtures", in that they are semi-permanent parts of buildings, not usually owned or maintained separately. Plumbing fixtures are seen by and designed for the end-users. Some examples of fixtures include water closets (also known as toilets), urinals, bidets, showers, bathtubs, utility and kitchen sinks, drinking fountains, ice makers, humidifiers, air washers, fountains, and eye wash stations.
Plumbing originated during ancient civilizations such as the Greek, Roman, Persian, Indian, and Chinese cities as they developed public baths and needed to provide potable water and wastewater removal, for larger numbers of people. Standardized earthen plumbing pipes with broad flanges making use of asphalt for preventing leakages appeared in the urban settlements of the Indus Valley Civilization by 2700 BC. The Romans used lead pipe inscriptions to prevent water theft. The word "plumber" dates from the Roman Empire. The Latin for lead is plumbum. Roman roofs used lead in conduits and drain pipes and some were also covered with lead. Lead was also used for piping and for making baths.
