Wish these guys would have turned out to be as good as some of these reviews...they sent out a technician who gave me instructions that turned out to be false. Plumbers Service just said "sorry our guy is kind of new and shouldn't have told you to do that." That seems to be the catch phase for any company that won't take responsibility for their actions or words. When do you know if anyone is telling the truth?? How can you trust the advice they give you? Not using these guys but good luck to those of you that do...very sad that Jeff wouldn't make this right.
Plumbing fixtures are exchangeable devices using water that can be connected to a building's plumbing system. They are considered to be "fixtures", in that they are semi-permanent parts of buildings, not usually owned or maintained separately. Plumbing fixtures are seen by and designed for the end-users. Some examples of fixtures include water closets[32] (also known as toilets), urinals, bidets, showers, bathtubs, utility and kitchen sinks, drinking fountains, ice makers, humidifiers, air washers, fountains, and eye wash stations.

I wanted to let you know that we were extremely happy with our first encounter with Pro-Service Plumbing. I called this morning and Kelly was extremely courteous and helpful. She had Jeromie at our house within two hours! Not only did he complete the job in record time but he discovered that the previous plumber we had out yesterday (who told us that we had a broken pipe on our main line) had misdiagnosed the problem. The first plumber said they were ordering parts and told us it could not be repaired until next week. They were going to charge us over $800.00 for a loose connection issue. Meanwhile, our front yard was flooding. Pro-Service fees were fair and reasonable. You will be our “go-to” plumbers from now on. Thank you!
With PVC you have a couple of choices if your pipe is failing; one is to repair the bad connection that is causing a stoppage. The other is to go ahead and replace the whole line. If the line is about 40 years old and is showing signs of age throughout, definitely replace. These days, you can replace the pipe without a digging trench. Based on the condition of the line, it may be an acceptable option to do just that. However, if the offset worsens trenchless may no longer be an option.
I think it is rather rude and a bit dishonest for people to not divulge their total fees upfront, an of course we should know to ask. But the normal person wouldn't know the questions to ask until they are burnt once like this, and then there still could be costs for walking up stairs or charge another service call if they need to go somewhere to use the bathroom and come back. THAT ISN'T A QUESTION I WOULD THINK TO ASK.
Most large cities today pipe solid wastes to sewage treatment plants in order to separate and partially purify the water, before emptying into streams or other bodies of water. For potable water use, galvanized iron piping was commonplace in the United States from the late 1800s until around 1960. After that period, copper piping took over, first soft copper with flared fittings, then with rigid copper tubing utilizing soldered fittings.
